Hello, my little friends!

This week is Dentist Week, and we’re going to learn why it’s so important to brush our teeth.

Brushing helps keep our teeth clean by removing germs and food that can cause cavities. If we don’t brush our teeth, germs can make little holes in them, and that can hurt! Brushing twice a day makes sure our teeth stay strong and healthy so we can chew our food and smile brightly.

Did you know that some foods are better for your teeth than others? Crunchy fruits and vegetables, like apples and carrots, are great for our teeth because they help clean them as we chew. But sugary snacks, like candy and soda, can stick to our teeth and cause cavities if we don’t brush them away. So, let’s try to eat more healthy foods that are good for our teeth!

To celebrate Dentist Week, we’re going to do some fun activities together! We’ll make paper teeth models and practice brushing them. We’ll also learn how to floss by using string to clean between pretend teeth. And don’t forget—we’ll talk about more healthy snacks that help keep our teeth happy and strong. Let’s have fun while taking care of our smiles!
