Hi guys!
Today, we’re going to learn about Body Safe Zones and the different colours we can use to understand them.

Green Zones
First, we have Green Zones, like our hands, arms, and shoulders. These are safe areas for things like hugs, high-fives, or holding hands if we want.
Yello Zones
Next, there are Yellow Zones, like our tummy, legs, and feet. These areas need extra care, and only trusted adults should help us here.
Red Zones
Finally, we have Red Zones, which are our private parts, like the ones covered by our underwear (penis, vagina, and bottom). These areas are private, and no one should touch them except for a doctor or trusted adult when needed, and only if we say it’s okay.
It’s also important to remember that we should always feel comfortable with how others touch us. If we don’t like something, we can say, “Stop,” “I don’t like that,” or “Please don’t touch me.” Everyone’s body is their own, and it’s okay to say no if we don’t want someone to touch us, even in safe areas like our arms or back.
To help us understand Body Safe Zones, we’re going to do a fun activity! We’ll colour different zones on a picture of a body—green for safe zones, yellow for areas that need extra care, and red for private zones. We’ll also practice saying words like “Stop” and “I don’t like that” to make sure we know how to express ourselves.
Let’s have fun learning about how to keep our bodies safe and respected!
